Products & medicines
Yes. Every product on AyurCall is sourced directly from the manufacturer or their authorised distributor. We do not source from grey markets or third parties. The brands we carry — Kottakkal, Vaidyaratnam, Nagarjuna, Kerala Ayurveda and others — are all established, reputable classical Ayurvedic manufacturers.
We source directly from manufacturers and their primary distributors. This ensures product authenticity, proper storage conditions throughout the supply chain, and fresh stock with maximum shelf life. It also allows us to offer discounts that intermediaries cannot.
The discount percentage is the reduction from the printed MRP (Maximum Retail Price) on the product. For example, a 25% discount on a ₹400 MRP product means you pay ₹300. Every product on AyurCall is discounted below MRP — ranging from 5% to 30% depending on the product.
Ayurvedic medicines work best when prescribed for your specific constitution (Prakriti) and condition. If you are unsure, we strongly recommend consulting an Ayurvedic doctor before purchasing. Our sister platform Indheal.com connects you with certified Ayurvedic vaidyas for online consultations in under 20 minutes.
Returns & refunds
Once we receive and verify the returned product, refunds are processed within 5–7 working days. The amount is refunded to your original payment method. UPI and card refunds typically appear within 3–5 business days after processing. COD orders are refunded via bank transfer.

Ayurveda basics
Ayurveda is one of the world's oldest holistic healing systems, originating in India over 5,000 years ago. The word means "knowledge of life" in Sanskrit. It is based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between mind, body, and spirit. Ayurveda uses herbs, oils, diet, and lifestyle practices to promote healing and prevent disease.
Prakriti is your individual physical and mental constitution, determined at birth. It is defined by the balance of three biological energies or doshas — Vata (air and space), Pitta (fire and water), and Kapha (earth and water). Understanding your Prakriti helps choose the right medicines, diet, and lifestyle for your body. You can discover your Prakriti using our quiz or by consulting an Ayurvedic doctor on Indheal.
In many cases yes, but it depends on the specific medicines involved. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with allopathic drugs — for example, medicines that affect blood thinning, blood sugar, or thyroid. Always consult both your allopathic doctor and an Ayurvedic practitioner before combining treatments. Do not stop or reduce any prescribed allopathic medication without medical advice.
Classical Ayurvedic medicines are formulations described in ancient Ayurvedic texts (like Ashtangahridayam and Sahasrayogam) — they have fixed compositions and are manufactured according to traditional methods. Patent or proprietary Ayurvedic medicines are modern formulations developed by companies, often combining classical herbs in new ways. Both are sold on AyurCall; classical formulations from brands like Kottakkal and Vaidyaratnam are particularly respected for their adherence to traditional standards.
